Built From A Case That Helped Shape Compassionate Release

Pro Se Help was co-founded by Jeremy Zullo, a formerly incarcerated federal litigant whose case, United States v. Brooker, became an important Second Circuit decision interpreting the First Step Act’s compassionate-release reforms.

The First Step Act gave incarcerated people the ability to seek compassionate release directly from federal courts. Brooker helped define how judges could exercise that new authority, and the legal landscape continued to develop until the Sentencing Commission later updated its compassionate-release guideline.

Jeremy built Pro Se Help so other individuals and families would have clearer information, stronger organization, and practical support navigating the federal system.

Why Choose Pro Se Help?

Built From A Case That Helped Shape Compassionate Release

Pro Se Help, LLC was founded by Damian Corbett and Jeremy Zullo. Jeremy brought the pro se motion behind the Second Circuit's decision in United States v. Brooker, which helped shape how courts handle compassionate release. We built this company to give people representing themselves, and the families helping them, what made the difference in his case: careful research, organized documents, and plain language. We are not a law firm. We help you prepare.
